According to her, NTOCG has made efforts to position Montenegro as a year-round destination, and international research such as the ITC research is encouraging in this regard, which shows that Europeans increasingly want to travel outside the main season.

Hoteliers are also of the opinion that Montenegro is facing a successful summer tourist season, pointed out Vujović, and said that the announcements are much better compared to the previous year, and that some hotels are already fully booked for the months of June, July and August.

The NTOCG representative said that currently the most numerous tourists in Montenegro are from the region, but that a large number of tourists from Turkey, Germany, Austria, Poland and the Czech Republic have also been noticed.

When it comes to the continuation of the season, as far as the announcements are concerned, we expect a large number of tourists from Kazakhstan, the Baltic countries, Egypt and Scandinavia, these are all markets with which we have good air connections – she said.
