Podgorica – According to Monstat data, the average salary without taxes and contributions in November amounted to EUR 721 and was 0.1 percent higher than in October.
The average net salary In November increased by 34.8 percent compared to the same month last year.
The average gross salary in November was EUR 892.
“If it is taken into account that consumer prices rose by 0.9 percent in November compared to October, it follows that real earnings for the same period recorded a drop of 0.8 percent,” the announcement states.
Compared to October, the average net earnings in November increased in the mining and quarrying sectors by 3.6 percent, professional, scientific and technical activities and other service activities by 1.4 percent, manufacturing industry by 1.2 percent, artistic entertainment and recreational activities. 1.1 percent, water supply and waste water management, 0.8 percent.
Growth was also recorded in the wholesale and retail trade sectors; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles 0.7 percent, agriculture, forestry and fishing and financial and insurance activities 0.6 percent, state administration and defense: mandatory social insurance 0.5 percent, health and social protection 0.3 percent and administrative and auxiliary service activities 0.2 percent.
The drop In average net earnings in November compared to October was recorded in the sectors of accommodation and catering services 4.2 percent, transport and storage 2.4 percent, information and communications 1.3 percent, real estate business 1 percent, supply of electricity, gas, steam, air conditioning and construction 0.7 percent each and education 0.1 percent, local media reports.
