In March, Montenegro Stock Exchange records a 65% decrease in turnover

In March, the total turnover on the Montenegro Stock Exchange amounted to €173.75 thousand, marking a decrease of about 65% compared to February.

“Compared to March of last year, the turnover is down by around 79%. The average daily turnover in the past month stood at €8.27 thousand,” stated the Montenegro Stock Exchange Bulletin.

There were 21 trading days in March, during which 128 transactions were concluded.

The total turnover on the prime market in March was €51.89 thousand, with 24 transactions executed. Meanwhile, on the standard market, 14 transactions were recorded with a turnover of €2.57 thousand.

Throughout March, 82 transactions were conducted on the free market, amounting to a turnover of €116.15 thousand.

The total turnover on the MTP ME market amounted to €3.14 thousand, with eight transactions completed.

The MNSE10 index closed March at 977.96 points, reflecting a decrease of 5.32% compared to the same period last year.

The MONEX index stood at 14,701.86 points at the end of last month, indicating a 0.84% increase compared to the corresponding period.

As of March 31, the total market capitalization of shares reached €2.55 billion, representing a growth of 3.73% compared to the same period last year, with an increase of €91.63 million over the year.
