The European Parliament has recently approved the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA), providing Montenegro with access to over 400 million euros in favorable loans and grants to support its reform efforts.
Maida Gorčević, Minister of European Affairs, emphasized that this instrument will contribute to the growth of Montenegro’s economy, help achieve goals outlined in the reform agenda, and bring the country closer to EU membership.
Gorčević further highlighted that this initiative reflects the EU’s commitment to accelerating the integration of Western Balkan countries. By gradually participating in the single European market, Montenegro aims to swiftly reach EU economic standards.
Sharing the news on the social media platform X, Gorčević emphasized the significance of this step towards Montenegro’s European aspirations.
