Direct air connectivity between Slovenia and Montenegro is of great importance for the further development of economic and tourist cooperation between the two countries, it was announced at the meeting of the Ambassador of Slovenia to Montenegro, Gregor Presker, with representatives of the national airline Air Montenegro .
The Air Montenegro company said that the meeting discussed the potential for intensifying cooperation in the future.
Presker also emphasized the importance of direct airlines for the development of the economic partnership between the two countries, as well as the role that Air Montenegro plays as a company that, throughout the year with several weekly flights, maintains good air connectivity.
“During the meeting, the possibilities of intensifying and improving cooperation were discussed, especially when it comes to the valorization and promotion of Montenegrin adventure and ski tourism, which are increasingly popular,” the announcement says.
As it is added, Air Montenegro currently flies three times a week between Podgorica and Ljubljana, while four weekly flights are planned in the summer season from Tivat, local media reports.
