The U.S. Ambassador to Montenegro, Judy Rising Reinke, along with her team, visited the Port of Bar. During a constructive discussion with the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dušan Masoničić, and the Executive Director, Ilija Pješčić, Ambassador Reinke was briefed on the challenges faced by “Luka Bar” AD in its operations, as well as the opportunities for developing and improving the port’s capacity, as stated by Luka Bar.
They further mentioned that the Ambassador highlighted the potential for collaboration between Luka Bar and U.S. ports, expressing her willingness to support this process.
“Considering that connecting with the hinterland and regional countries is vital for Luka Bar’s operations, the meeting also explored ways to enhance the competitiveness and operational efficiency of the entire logistics and transportation chain through the Port of Bar,” they stated in the announcement.
