Traffic and toll data for Princeza Ksenija highway in 2025

Since the beginning of this year, 537.59 thousand vehicles have traveled on the Princeza Ksenija highway, according to data from the Monteput website.

In the previous year, 2.87 million vehicles passed through the highway, compared to 2.29 million in 2023 and 1.14 million in 2022.

The priority section of the Bar-Boljare highway was officially opened on July 13, 2022, and opened to traffic the following day.

For the first seven days, tolls were free. After that, the toll for motorcycles is 1.5 EUR, for passenger vehicles 3.5 EUR, and for trucks and buses 17 EUR.

The total length of the first section of the highway is 41.5 kilometers, with 20 bridges on the main route, nine bridges on the ramps of the interchanges, two overpasses, eight underpasses, 7.2 kilometers of concrete walls, and 16 twin-tube tunnels.

The section includes four interchanges with toll booths, connecting the highway with the existing road network: Smokovac, Pelev Brijeg, Veruša, and Mateševo.

The maximum speed limit is set at 100 kilometers per hour.
