The Traffic Administration has signed a contract with the company Bemax for the reconstruction of the road connecting Petnjica and Bioče, which stretches over approximately nine kilometers. In the public tender announced by the Traffic Administration on October 3, Bemax was the only bidder, with a price of 9,372,831 euros excluding VAT.
According to the announcement from the Traffic Administration, this road provides the shortest link between the center of Petnjica and the main road Berane – Bijelo Polje, and also serves as an alternative to the Berane – Rožaje main road.
- The deadline for completing the work is 18 months from the date the contractor is introduced to the project. The work is expected to begin next year, as soon as weather conditions permit, the Traffic Administration stated.
