Preliminary data from Monstat reveals that in April, Montenegro welcomed a total of 116,381 arrivals and recorded 317,870 overnight stays in collective accommodation.

Foreign tourists accounted for 84.1% of the total overnight stays, while domestic tourists contributed 15.9%.

The coastal areas saw the highest number of overnight stays in collective accommodation, comprising 83.9% of the total. The capital city accounted for 10.1% of overnight stays, with other areas and mountain resorts contributing 3.3% and 2.8%, respectively.

It’s important to note that collective accommodation encompasses hotels, guesthouses, motels, tourist resorts, holiday resorts, hostels, campsites, and similar establishments.

However, individual, or “private accommodation,” such as renting rooms or houses, as well as tourist apartments, are not included in collective accommodation.
