Recent data from the local Tourist Organization (TO) of Tivat shows that the city is currently hosting 8,800 visitors, marking a 6% rise from the previous year.
This represents a 7% increase compared to 2019 figures.
Of the current guests, 8,730 are international tourists, while domestic visitors number just 78. Hotels in the area have experienced a 15% decline in occupancy, with only 2,020 guests opting for hotel stays, as reported by Radio Tivat.
Private accommodation has seen a boost, with 7,540 guests choosing this option, reflecting a 9% increase from last year. Additionally, there are 155 foreign tourists staying in camps, 50 in resorts, and 105 in holiday villages.
Serbian tourists remain the largest group, with 2,380 visitors, followed by 1,130 from Russia, 544 from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and 418 from Turkey.
There are also fewer tourists from the United Kingdom, Germany, Ukraine, the United States, Croatia, and France vacationing along the Tivat Riviera.
