In preparation for the maintenance of the Perućica Hydroelectric Plant (HPP), Elektroprivreda (EPCG) announced that the diversion system in Nikšić Field will be drained on Tuesday and Wednesday.
- According to the maintenance schedule for this year, the system and pipelines are set to begin refilling on September 1. HE Perućica is expected to be reconnected to the power grid after three days, EPCG stated.
EPCG has issued a warning to the public, particularly to residents near the hydroelectric system Perućica, about potential risks.
- We request that people avoid the area and refrain from any activities near the diversion channels during the draining and refilling process, EPCG advised.
