New executive director appointed at EPCG Solar Construction

The Board of Directors of EPCG Solar Construction, during its regular 16th meeting held on December 30, unanimously appointed Milutin Marojević, the current acting executive director, as the new executive director, as announced by EPCG.

Milutin Marojević is a graduate electrical engineer with many years of professional experience. He has been with EPCG Solar Construction since its inception.

Marojević’s appointment followed a complete public competition procedure. According to the decision of the Board of Directors on December 9, 2024, a public competition for the position of executive director was announced on December 13 and lasted for eight days. Three candidates applied: Milutin Marojević, Valerija Saveljić, and Željko Knežević.

The commission responsible for the competition and the selection of the executive director conducted interviews with the candidates on December 26. Special attention was given to presenting the candidates’ plans and programs for the company’s work and development during the mandate.

Milutin Marojević has been appointed executive director for a four-year term, with the possibility of re-election. During the Board meeting, it was emphasized that the new executive director is expected to contribute to the modernization and expansion of the company’s operations, aiming for sustainable growth and increased competitiveness in the market.

Biography
Milutin Marojević was born in 1966 in Nikšić. He graduated in 1993 from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Podgorica.

He began his career as an intern at Trebjesa Brewery and as a teacher at the Electro-Metallurgical School in Nikšić. From 1994 to 2008, he worked as an independent officer in the construction service of the Yugoslav Army and then the Montenegrin Army. As a designer, reviser, and technical supervisor, he worked at Magma and Simes Engineering. Between 2010 and 2012, he served as the executive director of MN Engineering.

Since 2003, he has been a member of the Engineering Chamber of Montenegro. He holds licenses for the preparation of technical documentation for the construction of high-voltage buildings and for reviewing technical documentation and technical supervision during the construction phase of high-voltage buildings, issued by the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism of the Government of Montenegro.

Before his appointment as executive director of EPCG Solar Construction, Marojević held the position of coordinator for technical matters and technical director, according to EPCG’s announcement.
