The Ministry of Public Administration in Montenegro has announced its goal to unify all services provided by the state into a single platform, enhancing accessibility for citizens and businesses. The implementation of a new e-government portal is expected in December.
Minister Marash Dukaj emphasized the importance of advancing digital transformation in Montenegro, which is becoming increasingly essential and demanding from both technological and organizational perspectives.
“Our mission is to enhance public administration with a focus on key projects and strategies that will shape the future of digital services and innovations,” Dukaj stated during the inaugural meeting of the third session of the Coordination Body for managing the digital transformation process.
He noted that all activities are crucial for improving digitalization and highlighted the significance of developing a Guide to Administrative Procedures for the Government of Montenegro.
The meeting covered plans for digitalizing e-services, the implementation of a guest registration system, preparations for the upcoming IT Spot event, and strategic documents that will serve as the foundation for digital health and smart specialization over the next five years.
The session concluded with resolutions aimed at further advancing the digitalization efforts and recognized the need to accelerate the digital transformation process. Steps will be taken to plan future activities and address identified challenges.
