Montenegro has utilized approximately 90% of the available funds from the IPARD II program, with Montenegrin farmers spending around 35 million EUR from the IPARD program.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management stated that the IPARD program is one of the most important sources of support for improving Montenegrin agriculture.
“This year marks the final year of the implementation of the IPARD II program, and it is the right moment to present the achieved results,” the Ministry officials said.
Representatives of the Ministry will hold a press conference on Wednesday at Villa Gorica to mark the closure of the IPARD II program and present the results of the Ministry’s work this year.
They will also present opportunities for the development of rural areas in Montenegro through the IPARD III program for 2021-2027.
