Montenegro sees 226,000 tourist arrivals and 1.04 million overnight stays in collective accommodation during July

In July, Montenegro recorded 226,000 tourist arrivals and 1.04 million overnight stays in collective accommodation, according to preliminary data from Monstat. Foreign tourists accounted for 91.7 percent of these overnight stays, while domestic tourists contributed 8.3 percent.

The majority of overnight stays, 92.9 percent, were concentrated in coastal areas, followed by 3.8 percent in the capital city, 1.9 percent in mountain regions, and 1.4 percent in other locations.

Collective accommodation facilities encompass hotels, guesthouses, motels, tourist resorts, holiday resorts, hostels, and campsites. This category excludes individual or private accommodation, such as rented houses, rooms, and tourist apartments.
