– This is the first event that brought together eight domestic and foreign companies that are involved in the development of video games in Montenegro and that, with a synergistic effect, are trying to popularize the industry to the general public. Guided by the idea that this is an industry that can become a strategic branch of the development of the Montenegrin IT industry, the event was supported and organized by – Belka Games, Nord Beaver, Qio Agency, Startup Factory, ZUNO games, 3Hills Gaming Studio, Be Nice Games, Yodo1 – it was announced.

As the organizers announce, this will be an all-day event that, in addition to the opportunity to connect, will also provide an opportunity for learning and general education. Three panel discussions will also be organized.

– The first panel discussion on the topic “Creating games in 2023” will deal with new trends and technologies such as artificial intelligence, drivers and platforms for development, the opportunities they provide, but also the limits they impose. The second panel discussion “Map in one direction” is intended as an inspiring session and discussion for those who have yet to enter the world of video game development and introduce them to the possibilities of working in teams or as independent creators, and provide insight into how to become a part industry. The final panel “How games are made” will present a discussion on how games are created, and find a balance between data analysis and the satisfaction and feeling that a game should provide – the announcement states.

The event agenda and more information about the organization can be found on the website www.montegames.me.

In addition to the time for discussions, getting to know each other and networking, during the event there is also time for informal socializing, coffee breaks, lunch and entertainment with a DJ set.
