Montenegro is among the TOP 10 most desirable growing destinations in the world

Montenegro is among the TOP 10 most desirable growing destinations in the world, according to the readers of the oldest and most influential British travel magazine, Wanderlust.

The award ceremony of the “Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards 2023” and at the same time the celebration of 30 years of the existence of this prestigious British magazine, which was held in the historical building of the “British Museum” during the tourist exchange “World Travel Market” in London, was opened by the popular British presenter Ben Fogle, who is known for his roles on Channel 5, BBC and ITV.

The event was attended by the director of the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro (NTO CG) Dr. Ana Tripković Marković and director of the Montenegrin Congress Bureau and coordinator for promotion on the UK market, Aleksandra Maksimović, together with over 500 leaders of the world tourism industry.

Tripković Marković said that this represents another confirmation that the image of Montenegro on the UK market is on the rise.

According to her, this result was also contributed to by the marketing campaign that NTO Montenegro implemented at the beginning of the year in cooperation with “Wanderlust” magazine, within which a special subpage of their website dedicated to Montenegro was created.

“Wanderlust” is the oldest British magazine dedicated to travel and one of the leading ones in the last 30 years, with a special focus on sustainable tourism. The magazine’s mission is to inspire travelers around the world to discover new destinations by publishing authentic travelogues, stunning photos and expert advice.
