Montenegro hotels see record bookings for holiday season, focus on year-yound tourism growth

Montenegrin hotels are experiencing strong demand for the upcoming holiday season, with many reporting nearly full occupancy. Hotels like “Splendid” in Bečići, “Princes” in Bar, and “Palas” in Petrovac have almost sold out, while “Bjanka” in Kolašin is also fully booked for the holidays, with bookings for January depending on snowfall. The country’s rich holiday offerings, including concerts, gala dinners and activities for all ages, have contributed to this high demand.

The “Splendid” Hotel has seen strong interest in its New Year’s program, featuring concerts from five music stars and activities running until January 5. Guests can also book shorter stays, which have been priced lower, offering value for those arriving after New Year’s Eve. The hotel’s focus on direct sales has proven successful in attracting both domestic and international guests.

“Palas” Hotel in Petrovac is also fully booked, with guests coming from Montenegro and the region, including Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, and others. The hotel is known for its high-end service and a memorable New Year’s celebration, with a strong demand for its rooms starting as early as September.

The “Budvanska Rivijera” hotel group plans to continue expanding its offerings in the coming year, focusing on service modernization, infrastructure improvements, and strengthening its position as a leading hotel group on the Montenegrin coast.

Similarly, “Princes” Hotel in Bar is nearly sold out for the holiday period, with most guests being domestic. The hotel has focused on direct sales, leading to excellent results.

In the northern part of the country, “Bjanka” Hotel in Kolašin is seeing full occupancy for the holidays, with its January bookings dependent on snowfall, a common draw for winter tourists.

As the holiday season winds down, Montenegrin hotels are already shifting focus to pre-season bookings, MICE tourism, and new investments, ensuring that the country remains a top tourist destination year-round.
