Montenegro Assets Management, a company owned by businessman Veselin Pejović, plans to build a 5-star hotel near the old town of Budva. The hotel will feature 18 rooms, 4 suites, and 1 presidential suite, with a total area of approximately 3,000 square meters.
This plan is detailed in a document submitted by the company as part of their request to the Environmental Protection Agency for a decision on the need for an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the project. The hotel will be constructed on the site of the last remaining house opposite the Old Town of Budva, currently home to the famous Demižana restaurant. Last summer, the company received approval for the conceptual design of the hotel from the Chief State Architect.
The hotel will be situated along the promenade leading to the Old Town, around 75 meters from the town walls. The existing building on the site will be demolished. The planned hotel will consist of a basement, ground floor, and five upper floors. It will offer accommodation in 18 rooms, 4 suites, and 1 presidential suite, with external parking provided.
The ground floor will feature commercial spaces, a bar, lobby, and reception area with additional support rooms, as well as retail spaces with a separate exterior entrance. The first floor will house a restaurant and a meeting room. The upper floors will be designed with accommodation units, and the rooms and suites on the second floor will include private terraces on a green roof.
The architectural design was created by Studio Synthesys.
