The Tourism Organization (TO) of Kolašin is expecting a successful winter season, with positive forecasts, according to the director, Zorica Milašinović.
“So far, the forecasts for January are promising. We hope that the weather will cooperate throughout the season and that we won’t lack snow,” Milašinović told the Mina-business agency.
She added that hotel occupancy is looking very good.
“We can confidently say that, on average, larger hotels are 90% booked during the holidays. Reservations for private accommodation have started coming in daily, and everyone was waiting to see when the ski season would open,” she noted.
Milašinović mentioned that the TO Kolašin team began preparations for the winter season right after the summer tourist season ended, ensuring all planned activities were ready.
“As for expectations, we hope to have a successful winter tourism season,” she said.
She also reminded that the New Year’s market was opened on the Trg boraca square, offering a program for children and a music and entertainment program during the holidays. As part of this, the Shendon band performed today, while the group More is scheduled for tomorrow, and Peko and Nenad on Friday.
TO Kolašin also announced that a DJ party is planned for January 6 from 12 to 2 PM, followed by a performance by Filip Sjekloć on January 7.
From January 10 to 19, the fourth Winter Art Festival will take place in Kolašin, which will open with a concert by Verica Čuljković. Other performances include Marko Prentić on January 13 and a concert by the children of the Talent School on January 15. The festival will close with a concert by Amira Medunjanin on January 18.
“For those who enjoy active vacations, we will be organizing hiking tours and snowshoeing,” Milašinović added.
