In Montenegro, June saw 189,382 arrivals and 733,584 overnight stays in collective accommodation, according to preliminary data from Monstat.
The report reveals that foreign tourists accounted for 89.7% of the total overnight stays, while domestic tourists made up 10.3%.
Among different types of tourist destinations, coastal areas dominated with 91.7% of the overnight stays. The capital city, Podgorica, followed with 4.8%, mountain areas accounted for approximately 1.9%, and other destinations made up 1.5%.
The report clarifies that the data pertains to collective accommodation, which includes hotels, guesthouses, motels, tourist villages, resorts, hostels and campsites. It does not cover individual or private accommodation, such as rental homes, rooms, or tourist apartments.
