The government issued the Podgorica company BSD Mont with urban planning and technical requirements for the preparation of technical documentation for the construction of a solar power plant in the settlement of Vuča in Rožaje.
The location for the construction of the facility is land on several cadastral plots in KO Vuča in Rožaje.
As stated in the decision, according to previously conducted analyzes by the applicant, it was determined that the maximum possible capacity of the future solar power plant is approximately 123 MW of alternating current.
– In accordance with the Law, the opinions of the state administration bodies responsible for environmental protection, agriculture and forestry, the administrative bodies responsible for the protection of cultural property on which the land is located and the legal entities responsible for the conditions of connection to the infrastructure were previously obtained – it was announced.
The BSD Mont Company from this location plans to build the Vuča solar park, which is a system of three power plants that will cover approximately 194 hectares, and the total installed power of the power plants is 123.6 MW. In addition, the company is planning to start organic production and the development of animal husbandry in this locality.
Let’s remind you, at the beginning of the year, it was announced that the BSD Mont company bought part of the land of the former Agrobisernica, which operated on the territory of Rožaje. According to announcements, that company, in cooperation with business partners from Hungary, will build a solar park and a wind park on the Vuča site, and will invest in the development of animal husbandry and agriculture, including plant production.
As stated at the time, the value of the project was estimated at over 200 million EUR, and if realized, at least 50 jobs will be created.
