Air Montenegro is increasing the number of flights from Tivat to Belgrade

The Montenegrin national airline, Air Montenegro, has announced that next year it will significantly increase the number of flights on one of its most profitable and busiest routes between Tivat and Belgrade.

Starting in early April, Air Montenegro will operate fourteen rotations per week on this route, instead of the nine flights per week in April last year, which means two flights per day. From June 2nd, the number of weekly flights will increase to 17, with the addition of a third daily flight on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

As of June 14th, Air Montenegro will have 24 weekly rotations between Tivat and Belgrade, as they will fly at least three times a day, and on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, their planes will make four daily rotations between Tivat and Belgrade.

This means that next year, during the peak season, Air Montenegro will have seven more weekly flights between Tivat and Belgrade than it did last year when the company operated 17 rotations per week.

Although this is a significant increase in frequencies, it will not be enough for Air Montenegro to catch up with Air Serbia on the Tivat route. Air Serbia had up to 40 weekly rotations on this route during the peak season last year, and it is expected to have a similar number next summer.
