Dukaj met with Omar Sultan Al Olama, the UAE’s Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications.

The two officials agreed that both friendly nations should enhance their cooperation in these areas and outlined next steps to enable Montenegro to advance its digital transformation and AI initiatives successfully.

Dukaj informed his counterpart that his ministry, in collaboration with the World Bank, is developing a roadmap for AI, and plans to create a strategic framework for AI in Montenegro within the next year.

In this regard, Al Olama assured Dukaj that the UAE would support this process through experience sharing and accepted the initiative to sign a memorandum of cooperation between the UAE and Montenegro in this field.
