In Montenegro, a decrease in unemployment at the end of 2023

At the end of December last year in Montenegro, there were 39,940 unemployed individuals, approximately one percent less than in November, according to data from the Employment Agency (ZZZ).

At the end of December 2022, the number of unemployed was 46,600. Throughout the past year, the agency registered 16,560 newly employed individuals. During the same period, 29,560 job vacancies were advertised.

The Government of Montenegro has adopted the Economic Reform Program (PER) for Montenegro until 2026, which has been announced as a key document in the country’s economic policy.
